Walk-by shopping 2

In the meantime, I’m working on some other ideas. Although not as a New Year’s Resolution, I started taking one picture a day (in hindsight it turns out that I started on January 1st, but that’s just a coincidence). It is unlikely that I will keep this up the whole year, and that is not a target I’m aiming for. But so far, I like the idea, I really limit myself to one photo a day, no more, no less, with the intention of sharing that as a series. It seems to give me some focus. Results, as always with analog, are “slightly” delayed. In the meantime, more walk-by shopping.

I wish you well on your photo-a-day exercise, Jacco!

Also that you last longer than I did with my same type of series that I began the first of January last year… only lasted until the first day of Spring.

Even though, I am happy with some of the results that I got from doing it. It did challenge me to try and be creative in what the heck to shoot this day, and some of those results I am happy with… others, yeah, not so much 🙂 But again though, a good challenging photo exercise nonetheless… all the best with yours!

Thanks, Jeff. First day of Spring, I don’t even plan to keep it up that long. I’d be happy if I can do this for a full month.

Just as you say, it is challenging, and I am curious to see the results. Keeps me off the streets. Oh, wait, no… it doesn’t! 🙂

Yes, a nice endeavour to start the year with, good luck! I’m curious to see what the results will look like.

And the Walk-by shopping series is a very cool idea.
Having seen two pictures now, I prefer the first one as it seems to convey more the “rushed” feeling that you refer to.

I agree, the first one has more of the “rushed” feeling, although I prefer the second when it comes to overall contrast.
