In front of the church, II

Last (at least for now) of the series “people in Berlin”.

Last (at least for now) of Berlin. There is more to show, but in the meantime we’ve had Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day, and I think I will show you some of my shots taken that day during the next updates. Also, I developed a roll of film still lying around from summer/autumn 2011 last week. I almost forgot about those shots, a few of them are also worth sharing, I believe.

So, the last of Berlin for now.

This one, is by far my favorite, Jacco… With just the couple, the backdrop, evokes just a romantic scene… Nice one!

Cool on the pinhole camera shots! Did you make the pinhole camera yourself? I look forward to seeing them!

Thanks JPH. The pinhole camera is not homemade, at least not in my home, nor by me. But more about that in (one of) the next update(s).

searching frantically for the like button.. showing my facebook addiction. Anyway, this is the sort of picture I would hang in my office. It invites stories.

Sounds like it’s time to dive into the darkroom and make some prints… I believe I have a potential customer here. 😉 Thanks.

Oh, and thanks once more, Saskia, your comment enables me to step back and look at the picture from a different perspective. I see what you mean, “it invites stories”. Yes, I can see that now.

It is sometimes difficult for me to see the picture without thinking back to the time and/or place it was taken, see the surroundings, see more than just the picture. But your comment helped me to see just the picture, nothing more.
