Woo-hoo! Oddball trees! 🙂
Seriously, what are those oddball trees?! Here you have a whole oddball tree lined path of them… Yes, I am obsessed with them! 🙂 I just honestly, in my 43 years of life and travels, have never seen any kind of tree that even remotely resembles these trees that are apparently prevalent in the Netherlands… except for Joshua Trees which are somewhat similar… yet those are only found in the American southwest. You’re driving me mad, Jacco! Mad, I say! 🙂
These are different trees than in the earlier picture, I think. these look like guided lime trees (leilindes in nederlands) to me. The other looked more like a badly pruned poplar or similar.. the trick to the balls on the branches is the pruning..
I’m no expert on trees, so I’ll believe what you say, Saskia. Nevertheless, I’ll keep looking out for more oddball trees, just to satisfy Jeff. Or to make him go crazy, whatever happens first. 😉
