Serene 1.1

You’ll have to wait a bit longer for Serene 2. After the comment from Richo, and to get a bit more “feeling” of how this shot might work better, I’ve done a different crop of the previous image.

I am planning to print this one in the darkroom soon, so seeing two different crops on my own site might help me decide what to do there.

Next update: Serene 2.0, I promise! 😉

Ah.. now I see. It looked familiar.
Maybe a weird suggestion, but I found out it's also a nice picture upside down 🙂

I really liked this photo too, Jacco, and thought also though that it just needed to be cropped at the top, just not so much as you have done here… just enough so that the sky was removed, but still had those distant trees in the mist and fog in the frame, giving it good depth, as well as just looking cool and good 🙂

Any, or either way, very good shot and capture!

FS, JPH; oh well, it's hard to please everybody, including myself. Still not sure about the cropping. I hope I will work it out once I have a real print to hold, to twist (even 180 degrees, FS!), to "crop" by means of putting some paper over the edges.

    I will work it out.

    Thanks for commenting.
