Silence

St. Patrick’s Cathedral, New York. So close, but yet so far away from the noisy streets, this man was sitting in silence. People, tourists, came and went, but the man didn’t notice. He just sat there. In silence.

Bessa R3M, Nokton 40 mm 1.4 SC @ 1.4, Fuji Superia Reala 100.

Nice boekeh. Sometimes I would like to go again with this kind of camera in world.
Must feel nice and that lens Single Coates 1.4 40mm seem like the best lens possible.
How is the shutter noise on this R3M ?

Thanks for not overlooking this picture. I must say I'm very happy with the shot, and indeed this is the perfect lens for it. Well, maybe not the only perfect lens, but… the only one in my collection 😉

Shutter noise is… OK. Not silent, but a solid k-tjng, and that's it. We should meet, then you can hear it for yourself.
