Market – Shiny objects

Markets… Markets really present the careful observer with rewarding views. In other words, great opportunities for a photographer.

The theme for the next short series will be markets.

This was one of my submissions for the Monthly Shooting Assignment (the assignment being “markets”) over on APUG.

Quoting the comment of a fellow APUG member (who came up with this assignment and was also the one to “judge” the results): “it’s one of the great attractions in markets, those tables full of trinkets! I know I spend hours at our local one, going through every table such as this one!”

Yashica GSN 35 (hi, Richo!), Ilford FP4+.

The cover waiting for you at my home 😉 nice exposure such a soft and full grayscale. I always strive to get this out of digital.

Thanks both. @Richo, yes, the soft and full greyscale; sometimes you want a lot of contrast, sometimes you want this softness. After missing our planned meet-up, we should re-plan, exchange the cover and go out to shoot. Soon! Yes, before 2012! 😉

P.S.: the updates of this site have slowed down a bit, sorry about that; just sooo busy with a lot of things, there hasn't been time for photography lately… 🙁 I hope to catch up within one or two weeks.
